Vision
SCAD Independent is a research institution that is independent, non-partisan and non-profit, and is an independent research institute on democracy in Aceh, which was founded with a passion to improve the contribution of intellectuals in an effort to improve the development and quality of life for the people of Aceh and democratic life.
Our vision is to realize SCAD Independent as a center of scientific studies that values education, social and cultural rights, democracy, and human rights, as well as the realization of life in Aceh that is fair, intelligent, creative, integrative, and dynamic backed by humane science and technology, and to help improve the lives of the people of Aceh in all areas democratically.
Mission
Our motivation stems from the desire to collect data of the highest quality, to undertake research in the public good and to enhance knowledge and contribute to informed decision-making.
Our goal is to be internationally acknowledged as a centre for excellence in the provision of social science research services.
